We are now in February which for Rotary is Peace and Conflict Resolution Month.
A time for us to reflect on how we as nurses and midwives contribute to peace in the world and how we are called on professionally when war rips nations and communities apart.
We have a fantastic presentation for our meeting on the 23rd of February
"Today, over 70 million people are displaced as a result of conflict, violence, persecution, and human rights violations. Half of them are children.
We refuse to accept conflict as a way of life. Rotary projects provide training that fosters understanding and provides communities with the skills to resolve conflicts."

The Members area of the Global Nurses and Midwives Website houses a lot of information about our club.
You can find all the documents that are discussed at meetings and in the Bulletin, plus check your own details, communicate with other Members and there is an App you can download so you can access info anywhere, anytime.
Gail Aylmerhas done a great job of getting it all sorted. If you have a website question you can email Gail.
Our club members can shine a light on RI and our Global Nurses and Midwives Rotary Club by hosting a delicious tea break at work for their colleagues at work and talking to them about Rotary.
We will be baking up a storm, collecting the recipes and making a delicious-looking eBook, that will be used to raise funds.
