Exciting times ahead!
Incoming Rotary International President Shekhar Mehta urges members to become more involved in service projects, saying that caring for and serving others is the best way to live because it changes not only other people’s lives but also our own.
July is a time of new beginnings, a time to reconnect with each other across distances and differences and to respond to change, a time to show Rotary Opens Opportunities.
Founder & CEO of the Aminata Maternal Foundation, is an author, inspirational speaker, activist, former refugee from Sierra Leone, wife, and mother of two.
She is a Special Representative for Australia United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

The results are in and the report is attached for your perusal.
The report will be discussed at the strategic planning meeting that took place on the 7th of July.
We are excited to announce that the Global Nurses and Midwives Rotary Club has become part of the change!!
Caring for our environment is one of Rotary and our Club’s 7 areas of focus. It is so important that we all contribute to protecting our environment as much as possible.
Containers for Change is a fabulous initiative that promotes positive recycling behaviours that helps the environment as well as supporting charities to fundraise.
We have created a Global Nurses and Midwives Club Brochure that we can use to give out to people in they are interested in joining us or want to know what we are about.
Please have a look at the Brochure and distribute it to Nurses and Midwives who you think would be interested in Joining our Club.
If you would like to present to other Nursing colleagues or to other Rotary Clubs in your area about the Global Nurses and Midwives Rotary Club Wendy and her team have created a Powerpoint presentation and notes to assist you.
