James Broñola passed away at the age of 36 on January 28, 2025, at 2:00 AM. He was an emergency nurse who graduated from the University of Cebu, known for his vibrant spirit and unwavering dedication.
James became a member of GNMRC on March 5, 2022, and took on the role of Public Relations Lead in 2023. Throughout his journey, he exemplified resilience and commitment to various outreach initiatives, even in the face of battling Chronic Kidney Failure Stage 4 for the past five years.
Through his outreach experiences, James recognized the urgent need for medical assistance and the critical shortage of trained healthcare professionals to meet local health challenges. His decision to join GNMRC reflected a profound desire to serve communities across the globe and contribute to essential human needs, such as:
- Delivering clean drinking water to rural and underserved areas
- Preventing communicable diseases through impactful immunization programs
- Educating and empowering the next generation to inspire lasting change
Through GNMRC, James seized the opportunity to collaborate with global nursing professionals, tirelessly working toward these noble goals.
